Last night saw the studio theatre at the Scala packed out with a full house, and what a lovely site to see i am sure a good time was had by all, the stage was set for a night of brass band music from the point of Ayr band with John Hinkley as musical director and local female artist Bekki Ellmore performing and array of festive Christmas classics.
Friends of the Scala really did everyone proud with their first attempt at putting on a live show.
Thanks has got to go to everyone The band and Bekki for giving 100% performances and everyone involved whether behind the scenes or Just doing what friends of the scala have learn to do best, have a laugh raise some money for a very good cause and party like they always do the mulled wine and mince pies were flowing and we even had a guest appearance from Father Christmas who suprisingley was selling Local historian Fred Hobbs book about the history of the Scala.

We would like to thank the following even though they were on the night but on the website aswell.

James Donovan and Matt Enticott (Scala) who did a wonderful job in the sound and lighting gallery.
Sam Clarke (Scala) for her proffessionalisn on the night and for her working beyond her call of duty in her free time also.
All the Staff and Volunteers at the Scala who were working on the night.
All the Staff in Saronies cafe bar who were working especially during the interval.

All the friends who were running round during the night Sandra Pitt, Melanie Pitt, who were very supportive to me as Compere and kept me well watered.
Glenys Wood and Sophia Drew who did a fabulous job of keeping the full house in mulled wine and mince pies.
Bryn for running around ragged organising everything you did a greatjob indeed.
Moira and Dave who sold raffle tickets to anyone that moved in the foyer (no one was safe)
Fred Hobbs, Connie and Betty who were busy selling Freds book with Santa (wink wink)

And Especially all the people who supported us by coming to watch the show, without you it would not have been the success it was, merry christmas and a happy new year to you all.
