Last weekend saw the superb Prestatyn Carnival, which in accordance with tradition, the rain once again tried and definitely failed to spoil!.
Whether you missed, attended or were taking part in the Parade, you can find over 100 photos which I took of the colourful Parade in our Gallery, feel free to view them as a Slideshow. You can also share, rate and comment on the images if you are registered member of our website's forums.



The Parade seems to get better, more colourful and bigger every year, and the turnout of residents and visitors to Prestatyn and the involvement by everyone concerned was fantastic.




The summertime activities in Prestatyn don't end there though!

Prestatyn Flower Show 2010

Following on from the Carnival is this weekend's annual Prestatyn Flower Show, which is always a wonderful event that the whole family can enjoy.



As always, Prestatyn Flower Show is held in the Vicarage Gardens, Prestatyn High Street across two days, this year its Friday 30th and Saturday 31st July, and a wealth of activities are planned.

Exhibits include flowers, vegetables, herbs, floral art, domestic, crafts, woodwork, classic cars, photography and art, with the paintings on show in the nearby library. There will be refreshments and cream teas on the lawn, plant stalls, children's entertainment, face painting and a Teddy Bears Picnic. The Hotfoot Jazzmen band and Rhyl Silver Band will be on hand and playing throughout both days.

Hopefully the sun will come out (there we said it) for two fantastic community days in Prestatyn.
