Preparations are well underway for the 17^th Annual Prestatyn Flower Show and once again pupils from Prestatyn schools were invited to enter the Schools Photographic Competition. Ysgol Clawdd Offa, Ysgol Penmorfa and Ysgol Y Llys will celebrate their success at an Awards Ceremony to be held in the Scala Cinema and Arts Centre, Prestatyn on Wednesday 6^th July. The competition and the Awards Ceremony have been kindly sponsored by Mr Sean Jones, Manager, Tegid O. Jones and Son, part of the Co-operative Group.

  The following Saturday, 9^th July, there will be another very different competition when we will be trying to find the fastest snail in Prestatyn. Bring your thoroughbreds to the Vicarage Gardens, High Street, Prestatyn for the 2pm start of the Prestatyn Snail Race.
