Radio Elwy or Point FM as it will become more commonly known  is an organisation formed from public interest and desire to have a voice of  its own in the community. they have now been granted a full community radio license by ofcom


        Community owned and resourced it welcomes participation and  involvement of all members of the community the radio intends to serve, it will  be a not for profit organisation, limited by guarantee, providing a voice  and forum for all local organisations and  individuals who wish to participate, it will responsibly deliver qualitative  programming in a balanced manner to target and audience in the areas of Rhyl,  Prestatyn, Rhuddlan, and St Asaph.

        Its Broadcasting Philosophy will be open empowerment of the  individual to participate and enjoy through local news, views and information  through a varied imaginative and alternative schedule of programmes.
