About Me
I live in Prestatyn and I'm really happy that the new Scala Cinema has opened. I attended the old Scala during its very last weekend back in 2000 with my son and we saw The Grinch. I remember looking up and noticing the cracked walls and thinking how criminal it was that the Scala had been allowed to have run down so much. Then by chance it closed the next day!
The new Scala is now open and we think it really adds something special to the town of Prestatyn. The new Scala has all the latest blockbuster and quality films, and its a pleasure to see them on the new digital projector. 3D cinema came to the Scala in Summer 2010 which is fantastic.
The Friends of the Scala receive very little support, and considering the amount of work they do to support the Scala they should receive a lot more. Why not Join the Friends, make a donation and show your support! See the main website for more details.
